Single Varietal Vanilla Extract (Double Concentrated) is our proprietary, pure Tahitian vanilla extract from Indonesia. Tahitian vanilla pods are often shorter and more compact, and have significantly higher water and oil content than bourbon pods. This vanilla extract offers floral-fruity notes while the taste is subtle and unobtrusive. They are often described as resembling licorice, cherry, or wine. Gourmet pastry chefs particularly appreciate the Tahitian (Tahitensis) variety because it is so versatile and can be used in a variety of dishes.
